Boselaphus tragocamelus (Nilgai) is a species of mammals in the family Bovidae. They are listed in cites appendix iii. They are native to Asia. They are solitary herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 260.4 months and can grow to 2000 mm. They have parental care. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. They rely on running to move around.
