Petauroides volans is a species of mammals in the family ringtail possums. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They are solitary, nocturnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 180 months. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
