Maximum longevity: 11.7 years (captivity)
Observations: The nabarlek apparently features continuous tooth development. In captivity, it lives up 11.7 years (Richard Weigl 2005). It has also been reported that it lives up to 17 years (Fisher et al. 2001), which is possible but unverified.
