Nasua nasua (South American Coati) is a species of mammals in the family raccoons. It is native to Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Suriname, Guyana, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, French Guiana, Venezuela, Colombia, and Bolivia. It is a diurnal invertivore. Individuals are known to live for 212.4 months and can grow to 6600 g. Reproduction is dioecious. South American Coati relies on arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
