They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Mata AtlâNtica, US Minor Outlying Islands, Espirito Santo, Puerto Rico, SãO Paulo, Piauí, Pernambuco, ParaíBa, Sergipe, The Neotropics, Caatinga, Rio Grande Do Norte, Alagoas, Bahia, GoiáS, Minas Gerais, The Contiguous United States, Distrito Federal, Pampa, Pará, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, and Cerrado. They have simple, broad leaves.
