Heliconia (Heliconia) is a genus of herb in the family Heliconiaceae. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Flowers are visited by Dusky-throated Hermit, Violet-capped Woodnymph, Saw-billed Hermit, and White-necked Jacobin. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
