Symphyotrichum is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, Canada, The Americas, and Alaska. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Utetheisa ornatrix, Pontia protodice, Bombus impatiens, and Andrena hirticincta.
