Symphyotrichum lanceolatum (White Panicle Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Eastern North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Neomyia, Tachina fera, Small Copper, and Palpada furcata. Individuals can grow to 1.8 m.
