Pavonia is a genus of shrub in the family mallows. This genus is extinct. They are native to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Aellopos clavipes, Phaethornis pretrei, sweat bees, and Augochloropsis.
