Aloe (Aloe) is a genus of herb in the family Asphodelaceae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Masked Bees, Sparkling Violet-ear, Honey bee, and Anna's Hummingbird. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
