Caesalpinia (Nicker) is a genus of shrub in the family legumes. They are climbers. They are native to Hawaii, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. Flowers are visited by Protopolybia exigua, Protonectarina sylveirae, Brachygastra lecheguana, and Frieseomelitta silvestrii. Individuals can grow to 2.6 m.
