Launaea intybacea is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Ethiopia, Gambia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Mauritania, Australia, Ghana, Sudan, Tanzania, US Minor Outlying Islands, Eritrea, Kenya, Namibia, Niger, Cape Verde, Angola, Senegal, South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, and Somalia. They have broad leaves.
