Oxytropis splendens (Showy Locoweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Fabaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Alaska. They have compound, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Icaricia saepiolus and Drasteria hudsonica. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
