Senna marilandica is a species of perennial herb in the family Fabaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Crematogaster, Lasius niger, Camponotus, and Formica schaufussi. Individuals can grow to 6.6 feet.
