Charadrius veredus (Oriental Dotterel) is a species of birds in the family Charadriidae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in Australasia, the Indo-Malayan Realm, and the Palearctic. Individuals can grow to 95 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Oriental Dotterel relies on flight to move around.
