Tringa erythropus (Spotted Redshank) is a species of birds in the family Scolopacidae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Palearctic, the Afrotropics, and the Indo-Malayan Realm. Spotted Redshank is a diurnal invertivore. Individuals can grow to 210 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Spotted Redshank has parental care (only male provides care). It relies on flight to move around.
