Tringa nebularia (Common Greenshank) is a species of birds in the family Scolopacidae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Afrotropics, Australasia, the Palearctic, Antarctica, the Indo-Malayan Realm, and Oceania (Australia and islands). Common Greenshank is a diurnal invertivore. Individuals can grow to 230 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Common Greenshank has parental care (pair provides care). It relies on flight to move around.
