Chlidonias leucopterus (White Winged Tern) is a species of birds in the family Laridae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Palearctic, the Afrotropics, Oceania (Australia and islands), Australasia, and the Indo-Malayan Realm. Individuals can grow to 66 g. Reproduction is dioecious. White Winged Tern relies on flight to move around.
