Anthus rubescens (American Pipit) is a species of birds in the family Motacillidae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Indo-Malayan Realm, the Nearctic, the Palearctic, and the Neotropics. Individuals can grow to 25.5 g. Reproduction is dioecious. American Pipit relies on flight to move around.
