Ciconia ciconia (White Stork) is a species of birds in the family Ciconiidae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in Antarctica, the Indo-Malayan Realm, the Palearctic, and the Afrotropics. White Stork is a diurnal vertivore. Individuals can grow to 10000 g. Reproduction is dioecious. White Stork has parental care (occasionally breeds cooperatively). It relies on flight to move around.
