Musculus niger (Black Musculus) is a species of mussels in the family Marine Mussels. Adult Black Musculus form marine reefs. Dead Black Musculus form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 50 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
