Dosinia discus is a species of mussels in the family venus clams. Dosinia discus form shallow marine sediments. It is a surficial modifier. It is a suspension feeder. Individuals can grow to 125 g. Dosinia discus has sexual reproduction. It is a facultatively mobile animal.
