Leukoma asperrima (G. B. Sowerby I 1835)

Leukoma asperrima is a species of mussels in the family venus clams. Dead Leukoma asperrima form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 27 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
