Trachycardium isocardia (Linnaeus 1758)

Trachycardium isocardia is a species of mussels in the family cockle. Dead Trachycardium isocardia form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 100 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
