Ameritella carpenteri (Dall 1900)

Ameritella carpenteri is a species of mussels in the family tellin clam. Dead Ameritella carpenteri form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 32.2 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
