Hydrurga leptonyx (Leopard Seal) is a species of mammals in the family earless seals. They are native to Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Antarctica, and Pacific Ocean. They are solitary, diurnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 312 months and can grow to 3.8 m. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. They have parental care (female provides care).
