Maurolicus muelleri (Pearl Side) is a species of bony fishes in the family marine hatchetfishes. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 8.0 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous. They are fast moving animals.
