Baillon's Wrasse

Symphodus bailloni (Valenciennes 1839)


Symphodus bailloni (Baillon's Wrasse) is a species of bony fishes in the family wrasses. It is a planktotroph. Individuals can grow to 20 cm. Baillon's Wrasse has sexual reproduction; it is a protogynous hermaphrodite. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous.
