Ambrosia artemisiifolia (Annual Ragweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Annual Ragweed is native to the contiguous United States, Canada, eastern north america, Canada, Mexico, United States, Acre (Brazil), Mata Atlântica, Amapá, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, Paraíba, São Paulo, Pará, Bahia, Santa Catarina, Rondônia, Amazônia, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, Amazônia, and the Americas. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Honey bee. Annual Ragweed is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 86 cm.
