Cirsium douglasii (Douglas' Thistle) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Battus philenor hirsuta and California Dogface.
