Mikania micrantha (Bittervine) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They are climbers. They are native to Amazônia, Cerrado, Central America, Ceará, Distrito Federal, South America, Amapá, Mata Atlântica, GoiáS, Puerto Rico, Pará, SãO Paulo, Martinique, Caatinga, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pampa, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Pantanal, Rio De Janeiro, Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), RondôNia, Guadeloupe, Rio Grande Do Sul, Roraima, Bahia, and Mato Grosso. Flowers are visited by Asian Honey Bee, White-edged blue baron, Honey bee, and Delta pyriforme.
