Berberis aquifolium (Hollyleaved Barberry) is a species of shrub in the family Berberidaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and berries. Flowers are visited by ichneumon wasps, Carpenter bee, Marmalade hoverfly, and Andrena berberidis. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
