Deepsea occurrence unlikely. Zibrowius has a number of articles with information on geographic range and depth range of Hydroides norvegica. In particular in Zibrowius (1977:295 ) he points out an erroneous abyssal record (sta 274, 4808 m, Bay of Biscay, Prince of Monaco expeditions - this was not a benthic station).
