Salix alba (White Willow) is a species of tree in the family Salicaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Sphegina elegans, drone fly, Eupeodes bucculatus, and Cheilosia impressa. Individuals can grow to 70 feet.
