Amorpha fruticosa (Desert False Indigo) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Eastern North America, and North America. They have purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Andrena nothoscordi, Two-spotted Bumblebee, Cassius Blue, and Aglais io. Individuals can grow to 15 feet.
