Elaeagnus umbellata is a species of tree in the family Elaeagnaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Taiwan, Eastern North America, South Korea, China, North Korea, United States, and Japan. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Eurytides marcellus, Apis mellifera, and Vanessa atalanta. Individuals can grow to 15 feet.
