Trichilia hirta (Broomstick) is a species of tree in the family Meliaceae. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to AmazôNia, Mata AtlâNtica, Cerrado, Puerto Rico, Caatinga, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 38 feet.
