Cerastium arvense (Field Chickweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family carpetweeds. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, Eastern North America, Alaska, Greenland, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Tropidia, Scaeva melanostoma, Pseudolucia chilensis, and Phaonia. Individuals can grow to 0.095 m.
