Persicaria pensylvanica (Pinkweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Canada, the contiguous United States, Alaska, and North America. Pinkweed has simple, broad leaves and red flowers. Flowers are visited by Pearl Crescent. Pinkweed is a photoautotroph.
