Papaver nudicaule (Iceland Poppy) is a species of perennial herb in the family Papaveraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and South Africa. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Scaeva pyrastri, Habropoda tristissima, and Cryptic Bumble Bee.
