Aquilegia formosa (Western Columbine) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Western North America. They have red flowers. Flowers are visited by Anna's Hummingbird, California Bumble Bee, Rufous Hummingbird, and Western Tiger Swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
