Rhizome widely creeping, irregularly branched, densely covered with dark hairs and root-like shoots present. Fronds spaced, often distally winged, 2- or 3-pinnatifid, venation anadromous, free, with or without false veinlets. Sori terminal on the veins, solitary at the apex of the ultimate segments, tubular; involucre cup-shaped, usually with a bilabiate mouth, receptacles exserted.

Crepidomanes is a genus of ferns in the family Hymenophyllaceae. It is mostly distributed through the old world but has one species Crepidomanes intricatum in North America.[2] The genus includes the following taxa according to Ebihara et al. 2006.[3]
