Christella dentata (Pai'i'iho) is a species of perennial herb in the family Thelypteridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pará, Paraná, Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Bahia, Ceará, Alagoas, RondôNia, Cerrado, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pantanal, The Contiguous United States, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mato Grosso, Puerto Rico, GoiáS, Distrito Federal, Espirito Santo, Pernambuco, ParaíBa, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, and Santa Catarina. They have compound, broad leaves. They have alternation of generations.
