Christella dentata (Pai'i'iho) is a species of perennial herb in the family Thelypteridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, U.S. Virgin Islands, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Puerto Rico, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Maranhao, Cerrado, Mata AtlâNtica, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Bahia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, RondôNia, Distrito Federal, Pará, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Ceará, Pantanal, ParaíBa, The Contiguous United States, and Pernambuco. They have compound, broad leaves. They have alternation of generations.
