Ranunculus aquatilis (Common Water Crowfoot) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, Alaska, and North America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Silver-bordered Fritillary, Euphydryas aurinia, Common Dainty, and Forest Cuckoo Bumble bee.
