Near the western edge if campus where the creek heads underground. According to the "Strawberry Creek Tour" found at strawberrycreek.berkeley.edu "The coast redwoods found here and throughout the campus were transplanted from Mendocino in 1905. Redwoods are not native to Strawberry Creek, although they grow naturally in the nearby Oakland hills to the south.
