Gunnera tinctoria (Chilean Gunnera) is a species of perennial herb in the family Gunneraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Bolivia, Colombia, South America, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, and Chile. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 2 m. Reproduction is monoecious.
