Striga asiatica (Asiatic Witchweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Orobanchaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, China, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Thailand, South Africa, Uganda, India, Pakistan, and Zambia. Asiatic Witchweed has simple, broad leaves. It is an obligate parasite. Individuals can grow to 0.17 m.
