Striga asiatica (L.) Kuntze

Striga asiatica is a species of annual herb in the family Orobanchaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Thailand, South Africa, Zambia, Vietnam, China, Uganda, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Pakistan, India, and Zimbabwe. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.17 m.
