Ecrobia ventrosa (Hanging Mud Snail) is a species of Gastropoda in the family spring snails. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Dead Hanging Mud Snail form shallow marine sediments. They are detritivores. Individuals can grow to 2 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
