Hieracium umbellatum (narrowleaf hawkweed) is a herb species of plants in the family Asteraceae, with a self-supporting growth habit. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Phaonia angelicae (Scopoli 1763), Rhagonycha fulva, Lasioglossum calceatum (Scopoli 1763), and Sphaerophoria scripta (Linnaeus 1758). It is a photoautotroph.
