Nerita melanotragus is a species of Gastropoda in the family Nerites. They are native to Bass Strait, New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone, and Tasman Sea. Dead Nerita melanotragus form shallow marine sediments. They are detritivores. They have sexual reproduction.
